Health policy, determinants of health, and community connections
The 2010 Homes for All conference provided an opportunity for local housing advocates, community and business leaders to convene, share ideas and document their vision for building sustainable Minnesota communities where everyone can live.
Co-sponsored by HealthPartners, the conference opened with a morning plenary which included Congresspersons Amy Klobuchar, Keith Ellison, Betty McCollum and Erik Paulsen. In addition to a keynote address by the U.S. Secretary for Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Shaun Donovan, several interactive workshops were held throughout the day. The goal of the conference was to provide Minnesota’s governor-elect with policy recommendations and direction for the next four years.
