Nico Pronk, Ph.D., FACSM, is the Health Science Officer for JourneyWell and a Senior Research Investigator at the HealthPartners Research Foundation where he conducts research in the area of health behavior change and population health. Dr. Pronk is widely published in the scientific literature and is currently an Editorial Board member for several scientific journals. He has published extensively in the areas of exercise and physical activity, behavior change and the integration of health risk management strategies in population health initiatives. He is the founding president of the International Association for Worksite Health Promotion (IAWHP), a member of the Task Force on Community Preventive Services, the Clinical Obesity Research Panel at the National Institute of Health, and a former member of the Defense Health Board (Armed Forces Epidemiological Board). Dr. Pronk is also the Senior Editor of the recently published comprehensive and contemporary industry text ACSM's Worksite Health Handbook, Second Edition.

Thomas Kottke, MD, is a Medical Director for evidence-based health, HealthPartners Senior Clinical Investigator, HealthPartners Research Foundation Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, and a Cardiologist at Regions Hospital Heart Center. He is an internationally recognized expert in the delivery of preventive services and the prevention of chronic diseases. Dr. Kottke has published over 240 peer-reviewed papers, editorials and book chapters, many on the development of systems in clinical practice to assure the delivery of preventive and chronic disease services. Dr. Kottke was a member of the first United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) and both AHCPR/AHRQ task forces for the development of smoking cessation intervention guidelines. Dr. Kottke has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization on the prevention and management of chronic diseases and is a member of the faculty of the World Health Organization Non-communicable Disease Prevention course.
